For You Lot David Stanley Full General Auction

Another catch to David Stanley's enjoyable auction. There were the park familiar faces together with a practiced choice of tools.

I perish along existence tempted past times lovely sometime tool boxes, together with this was a peculiarly fine example.

The full general auctions are mainly for tools not considered worthy of the international sales, although this really rare Norris xi mitre bird was included together with sold for £5,800 + commission!

Here's my fiddling haul! Three Spiers smoothers including a really early one, 2 Norris smoothers, i Mathieson smoother, 2 shoulder planes together with a steel soled brass Norris bull nose  Most involve to a greater extent than or less attending   which is run I actually enjoy, y'all merely convey to pick the correct ones at the correct toll to arrive profitable.
My favourite is this Mathieson smoother dating from around 1900, it has a fine undamaged handgrip amongst elegant spur together with the master copy Mathieson parallel iron, giving a really tight mouth.
I volition likely firstly tinkering amongst these tomorrow, I merely can't resist!
